We live on the Northwest side of Maine, bordering the edge of the
Maine wilderness and timberland. Shortly there after us the electric service stops.
We breed Persian Cats.
I use to train show horses and then went on exercising and training thoroughbred race horses in Fla. Just as I was coming over the finish line Bajroja somersaulted crushing my upper body. Though she was unhurt my career in horse training was over. I was told another fall could end my life.
This is were my cattery name comes from "Bajroja". I’ve been breeding now for quite some time. I started out with a real well bred
Persian Male who has great looks that
Go-Teekatzs Tom Lukken and Jack Nichols were so nice to let me have. His great lines that speak for themselves. I stared also with four girls two of which were
solid Persian and two had Himmi in there lines.
Out of the two solid girls one had to have c sections, the other my male wouldn't look at! I spayed both of them and will adopt them out, only after I see references though.
So now I have two girls left. I am in the process of buying two kittens. I am very fortunate to be getting a little girl from
Jean Green of Steeplechase cattery I'm sure she will be gorgeous, and my thank you's go to Jean. The other will be coming from
Lyn Bayliss of Beaubell Persians which again will be a gorgeous kitten, my thanks to Lyn in which both these ladies took a big step in trusting a newbie as they call me.
My plan is to have two beautiful show girls. I have a very small cattery. I am a closed cattery (which means I do not breed out my male)
None of my cats are caged, my boy does not spray and is very affectionate to all cats and kittens in the house. His strong lines carry an affection gene I swear, because so many of his babies as of yet are unbelievably affectionate. Customers have called to let me know they have had Persians before and never had any that act like mine.
I do spend a lot of time with them teaching them how to maneuver the very steep stairs in our house,
and of course when a little one is crying on the cat tree I teach them how to go down backwards. When my babies are old enough to climb the stairs safely
they all sleep with me.
I raise these kittens for people to love and hold.
Now I will be raising them for show too. To me, personality is as important as conformation. My goal now is to breed top quality Persians.
Though I will always pick a pet home over a cattery that cages.
As soon as my two baby girls are old enough they will be on one of my pages. You will have to excuse my empty "girl" page until they are old enough. I will keep breeding the two
CPC until it is time to spay them. They throw some nice breed quality babies, and those will be for sale on my site, my goal is to be known for having
"solid Persian lines" and very special and loving kittens.
A strong inquiry will be done before my kittens leave my home. Whether you're interested in pet, breeder or show, if you would like to get a kitten from us, we may ask you to provide references, and sign a contract of sale. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any of our cats or kittens to anyone, at any time, for any or no reason.
We are a
PKD DNA Negative cattery.
